Greetings from Down Unda!

Welcome to world of a 20 year old who less than two weeks ago picked up and shipped out to a foreign place all the way across the globe.  I have almost no idea what I'm doing here, experiencing crazy things that many will never experience and I want to keep everybody updated and actively involved in what is going on all way over here in Canberra, Australia.

Basically, I've crossed quite possibly the largest ocean, flew over the international date line and arrived in a place quite upside down from where you might be used to!  Here in Canberra, the Capital of the continent that calls itself it's own country, the weather is a cold near 40 degrees Fahrenheit and it is the dead of winter in July!  The sun only shines for about 7 hours a day and while you sleep, I proceed to carry on with my daily life, bustling around the campus of The Australian National University, 14 hours ahead of your east coast time in the US.  I live every day before you do, as scary as that is... and yes Harry Potter did come out at midnight here, a complete 14 hours before it reached the east coast of the US.

Come back often for new updates on life across the world!  Hopefully, you can have almost as much fun as I'm having, while I proceed to "Live on the Edge!"
